Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is the world's first national park and one of the largest in the contiguous United States. Sprawling across volcanic plateaus in the northwest corner of Wyoming and southern Montana, Yellowstone contains more than 2 million acres of steaming geysers, crystalline lakes, thundering waterfalls and panoramic vistas.

The following list of campgrounds are all located inside Yellowstone National Park. Most sites are first come first serve basis and others are reservations only. Please note that fees are subject to change and there is a fourteen day camp site limit. All sites are run by the National Park Service unless otherwise noted.

• Bridge Bay Campgrounds

The Bridge Bay Marina Store is close by. There is electricity in the restrooms. There are vending machines at the campgrounds for snacks, drinks, ice and fire wood. You can collect any down and dead wood, you cannot use a chain saw in the park. There are pay showers and laundry facilities located at Fishing Bridge which is about five miles east of Bridge Bay.

The Canyon General Store and Sport Shop are close by. There is electricity in the restrooms. There are vending machines at the campgrounds for snacks, drinks, ice and fire wood. You can collect any down and dead wood, you cannot use a chain saw in the park. There are pay showers and laundry facilities located at Canyon.



• Fishing Bridge RV Park

Fishing Bridge is the only campground with Full Hookups - electricity, sewer and water. You may utilize a generator but only during hours specified.

The Fishing Bridge General Store is close by. There is electricity in the restrooms. There are vending machines at the campgrounds for snacks, drinks, ice and fire wood. You can collect any down and dead wood, you cannot use a chain saw in the park. There are pay showers and laundry facilities located at Fishing Bridge.

• Grant Village Campgrounds

• Indian Creek Campgrounds
  Seven miles south of Mammoth Junction



The closest restaurants, showers and gas stations are located at Mammoth and Gardiner. The closest laundry facility is located at Gardiner.

• Lewis Lake Campgrounds
  Ten miles south of West Thumb



The closest restaurants, laundry, shower and gas station are located at Grant.

• Madison Campgrounds

• Mammoth Campgrounds
  .5 mile north of Mammoth Junction. Opened year round.

• Norris Campgrounds
  One mile north of Norris Junction

• Pebble Creek Campgrounds
  Seven miles south of Northeast Entrance (Silver Gate, Montana)



The closest restaurants are located in Silver Gate, Cooke City and Roosevelt Lodge. The closest gas stations are located in Cooke City and Roosevelt. The closest laundry and shower facilities are located at Cooke City.

• Slough Creek Campgrounds
  Ten miles northeast of Tower / Roosevelt Junction



The closest restaurants and gas stations are located in Roosevelt, Silver Gate and Cooke City. The closest laundry and shower facilities are located at Cooke City and Gardiner, Montana.

• Tower Campgrounds
  Three miles southeast of Tower / Roosevelt Junction



The closest restaurants and gas stations are located at Roosevelt, Gardiner, Montana and Canyon. The closest laundry and shower facilities are located at Gardiner, Montana and Canyon.
